My Work
My work lives at the intersection of innovation and tradition. Before turning fully to textiles, I trained and worked as a graphic designer, and that history still shapes how I see: through grids, geometry, repetition, and deliberate structure. Quilts became a natural extension of that language—a place where systems meet the hand.
Tradition + Innovation = My Passion
I draw deeply from quilt history, honoring the logic, labor, and cultural weight embedded in traditional forms. Blocks, patterns, and inherited techniques provide a framework I can push against, rearrange, and reimagine. Within these familiar structures, I explore disruption, optical tension, and subtle dimensional shifts, allowing order and intuition to coexist.
By marrying time-honored quiltmaking with an experimental, design-driven approach, I aim to create art quilts that feel both grounded and restless—works that acknowledge the past while insisting on new ways of seeing it.
